20 Apr Immersive listening sessions at Archipel, Geneva
Archipel Festival (Geneva) offers immersive listening sessions with Neu Records and Santi Barguñó, from the Maison Communale de Plainpalais.
Every noon thirty, the festival offers a listening sharing session in the form of a carte blanche. The guest plays – with or without commentary – music that has inspired them or with which they feel close. The sessions are held in the presence of the artists.
Santi Barguñó from the Neu Records label (Spain) presents the philosophy that motivates their recordings in ‘surround sound’, placing the ears of listeners in the midst of the instrumentalists. The listening session includes a piece from the label’s latest release, recorded by the Ensemble Contrechamps.
